DESCRIPTION
This project entails
the Design/Build reconstruction and expansion of existing ramp toll
plazas for express lanes as a prototypical modernization of the
statewide Toll Collection System. The new prototype includes a
three-dimensional iconized gateway gantry arch, along with highly
stylized metal accented roof structures.
The project scope
consists of removing asphalt and concrete pavement, installation of
landscape, roadway reconstruction and installation of collection
gantries and other associated equipment and features. This project is
being completed under the Florida Turnpike Enterprise Program and is
being constructed in phases in order to minimize traffic
incon-veniences. |
