DESCRIPTION
ACAI was
responsible for the Construction Project Administration for this $9
million addition and renovation project, including design, permits
and construction documents for revisions and changes.
The project was
a 30,000 addition and 20,000 sf renovation and was completed without
interruption of the existing hos-pital services. New facilities
included four dormitory suites, outpatient surgery, neonatal
intensive care unit, and the outpatient services department.
Renovations included LDR, Central Sterile, Central Stores,
Pharmacy, Administration and the Emergency Department.
The Emergency
Department was expanded by adding additional treatment rooms,
triage, waiting areas and covered ambulatory emergency vehicle
access. Decontamination shower and clean-up area was also included.
No interruption of emergency service was experienced during the
expansion. |
