DESCRIPTION
ACAI was asked by Nova Southeastern University, to provide design services for the planning of a new dental clinic as part of a joint venture project with Joe DiMaggio Children’s Hospital.
Joe DiMaggio Children's Hospital is a world-class hospital that has earned the distinction of being the leading children's hospital in Broward and Palm Beach Counties. This 1,330 sq. ft. project opened in January 2009 and provides dental services for at-risk children. It is the first dental clinic in a hospital setting in Broward County.
The NSU-JDCH Center for Craniofacial Pediatric and Special Needs Dental Care was made possible by a $1.3 million grant awarded to the Pediatric Dentistry Department at NSU’s College of Dental Medicine through the Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA). |
