DESCRIPTION
Careful attention to detail and management of construction activities was paramount in the successful delivery of the new home for the Miami Heat. ACAI was selected as Consultant for the roofing, plaza and curtain wall waterproofing of the newest arena in South Florida. Our scope of work included constant on-the-field coordination overseeing the successful installation of the envelope surfaces for Miami’s landmark building by the bay. In addition, ACAI provided Construction Management services, which included design, construction documents and construction administration. A single ply system was installed on all the low sloped decks. The highly reflective surface of the roofing membrane selected in the design was an important factor that contributes to the energy savings of the building. ACAI worked closely with the Owner and its design/construction team in delivering this $243,000,000 award-winning project ahead of schedule.
